Wide Spray provides broad coverage, reach and fast application, air sealing over large surfaces, in tight spaces, hard-to-reach areas, and adheres to vertical and horizontal surfaces forming airtight, water-resistant seals
GREAT STUFF Wide Spray is an insulating foam sealant that coats and air-seals seams, joints, large gaps, and irregular surfaces (up to 6” wide). Wide Spray provides broad coverage, fast application and reach, allowing for rapid air sealing over large surfaces, in tight spaces, hard-to-reach areas, and adheres to vertical and horizontal surfaces. Wide Spray comes with two 18oz cans and can cover up to 60 linear feet (at a 4” wide band). The kit includes four nozzles: 2 blue Fan nozzles for broad coverage and 2 white Cone nozzles for more precise sealing and covering hard-to-reach areas. The 1-component formulation means no mixing and requires no respirators or coveralls while spraying. Great Stuff Wide Spray expands to take the shape of cracks and voids and forms a durable, airtight and water-resistant bond that eliminates unwanted airflow and helps reduce condensation.
Q.Can I fill wall cavities?
A.No. Wide spray is only intended for applications up to 6" it is not approved for full cavity fill. Filling already enclosed spaces, such as spraying into a void that cannot be seen, may cause accumulation of hazardous flammable vapors.
Q.Can I reuse cans or switch nozzles?
A.Although intended to be a one-time use product, partially used cans may be restarted if a new tip is used, especially if within 24 hours. Simply remove the tip and add a new one.
Q.Can I use the tips on normal cans of Great Stuff™?
A.Although the tips will fit on the valve, normal cans of Great Stuff do not have the correct formulation for the Wide Spray tips, and will therefore not perform. The tips are for Wide Spray use only.
Q.How do I clean up sprayed foam?
A.For freshly sprayed foam, use Great Stuff™ Foam Cleaner, Great Stuff™ Work Wipes or acetone to remove wet foam from any substrate. If the foam has skinned over or cured, mechanically remove foam by cutting it with a knife to remove it from desired location.
